Homemade Playdoh!

Making your own playdoh is much easier then you'd think. And best of all it only requires 5 basic ingredients! An extremely cheap activity for your little ones with hours of fun to be had.
A basic 5 ingredient Playdoh recipe, providing your children hours of fun.

  • 1 cup of Plain Flour
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Bicarbonate of Soda
  • Half a cup of Salt

  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan on a low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens & forms a firm dough texture.
  2. Leave to cool.
  3. If adding food colouring, make a well in the center of the dough, add a drop of food colouring, fold the dough over the food colouring and knead until it is coloured all over.

**Store the dough in an airtight container such as a plastic bag or box, then keep it in the fridge. Like this the dough should keep for up to 12 weeks.
