Tasty baked falafel, prepared in just under 5 minutes. We like to enjoy these for lunch, popped into Pitta breads with salad & hummus. They're also perfect served as a weaning beginners lunch. Suitable for freezing too.


  • Can Chickpeas, Drained & Rinsed
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 2 Tsp Cumin
  • Small Handful Coriander
  • 3 Tbsp Flour


  1. Place all ingredients above, into a bowl and blend until smooth.
  2. Spoon portions of the mix onto a baking tray and shape into a small pattie about an inch thick.
  3. Bake in the oven on 180c for 20-25 mins until they have a firm outside, they will still be a little squidgy in the middle.
