
Baked Falafel
Tasty baked falafel, prepared in just under 5 minutes. We like to enjoy these for lunch, popped into Pitta breads with salad & hummus. They're also perfect served as a weaning beginners lunch. Suitable for freezing too.
Tasty baked falafel, prepared in just under 5 minutes. We like to enjoy these for lunch, popped into Pitta breads with salad & hummus. They're also perfect served as a weaning beginners lunch. Suitable for freezing too.
Ingredients
- Can Chickpeas, Drained & Rinsed
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 2 Tsp Cumin
- Small Handful Coriander
- 3 Tbsp Flour
Method
- Place all ingredients above, into a bowl and blend until smooth.
- Spoon portions of the mix onto a baking tray and shape into a small pattie about an inch thick.
- Bake in the oven on 180c for 20-25 mins until they have a firm outside, they will still be a little squidgy in the middle.
