Why we designed the Big Sipper™
When your child has worked hard to master a new skill, the next stage shouldn’t make them feel like a beginner again.
Our original award-winning Sippit™ was designed to help babies start learning to drink from an open cup. Its small size makes those first attempts more manageable while little hands practise a surprisingly complicated sequence: grip, lift, control the angle, take a sip and place the cup back down again.
But as children grow, so does the challenge. They drink more, their hands get bigger and they’re ready for a larger cup. More liquid means more weight, a different centre of gravity and greater strength and control needed to put it down successfully.
That’s why we created Big Sipper™ as the next stage in their open-cup journey.
